Overview

Domain Proxy (also called WHOIS privacy) replaces certain registrant contact fields in public directory services with proxy service contact details, where supported by the relevant TLD.

What’s Covered

When enabled and supported by the TLD, we will publish proxy contact details instead of your personal contact details in public WHOIS/RDDS fields.
You remain the registrant/beneficial user unless the TLD requires otherwise.

What May Still Be Public

Depending on the TLD/Registry, some information may remain visible (for example):

Domain name, nameservers, registrar, and status codes
Registration/expiry dates
Proxy service identifier and proxy contact points

Disclosure of Underlying Data

We may disclose underlying registrant information when required to:

comply with law, court orders, or lawful requests from regulators;
comply with Registry or ICANN requirements;
address fraud, security incidents, or abuse investigations;
respond to dispute proceedings (e.g., UDRP) or intellectual property claims.

Message Forwarding

Where available, messages sent to the proxy contact address may be forwarded to your registrant email on file. You are responsible for keeping that email address current.

Limitations

Proxy service is not available for all TLDs and does not guarantee anonymity. Technical or policy constraints may limit coverage.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia.
