Overview

Who we are

This Domain Registration Agreement ("Agreement") governs domain name registration services provided by GetOn, operated by Startups Venture ("GetOn", "we", "us").

By registering, renewing, or managing a domain via GetOn, you ("Registrant", "you") agree to this Agreement, our Terms of Use, and the policies referenced below.

Definitions

  • Registry: the operator for a top-level domain (TLD).
  • Registrar: GetOn (or our upstream registrar partner) acting as registrar of record.
  • ICANN Policies: applicable ICANN consensus policies, including UDRP.
  • WHOIS / RDDS: registration data directory services, as applicable.

Registration

  1. We submit your requested registration to the relevant Registry subject to availability and eligibility rules for the TLD.
  2. Registration becomes effective when confirmed by the Registry and reflected in the Registry database.
  3. Some TLDs require additional validation (e.g., local presence, documentation). You must provide it promptly.

Pricing & Payment

Variable pricing

Domain prices may vary by TLD, term, and Registry pricing changes. Taxes may apply.

Payment timing

Fees are due at the time of order (registration, renewal, transfer, restoration, add-ons). We may suspend services for non-payment.

Registrant Data & Verification

  • You must provide accurate and complete registrant contact information and keep it updated.
  • We may request verification or supporting documents to satisfy Registry/ICANN obligations.
  • Material inaccuracies, failure to respond, or fraudulent information may result in suspension or cancellation.

Renewal & Expiry

  1. Domains are registered for fixed terms and must be renewed before expiry to avoid disruption.
  2. After expiry, TLDs may enter grace, redemption, or pending-delete phases. Recovery fees and restrictions may apply.
  3. Renewal reminders may be sent to the registrant email on file. You remain responsible for timely renewal.

Acceptable Use

Domains and related services must not be used for unlawful activity, malware, phishing, spam, IP infringement, or abuse.

We may investigate and take action, including suspension, in response to abuse reports. See Reporting Domain Abuse.

Incorporated Policies

Applicable Registry rules and ICANN consensus policies are incorporated by reference and may be updated from time to time.

Suspension, Cancellation & Changes

  1. We may suspend, lock, cancel, or transfer management access if required by law, Registry/ICANN policy, dispute, fraud risk, or non-payment.
  2. We may update this Agreement for legal, security, operational, or policy reasons. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance.

Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

Services are provided "as is" and "as available". To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetOn disclaims implied warranties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, GetOn will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential losses.

Governing Law

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Malaysia. Courts in Malaysia shall have jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer protections (if any) and applicable ICANN dispute policies.
